Access the client portal at https://ncsu.teamdynamix.com/TDClient. If you are not already authenticated by the NCSU Shibboleth single sign-on service then you will be asked to login. When you are logged in you will be taken to the client portal homepage. The homepage has three main sections as shown and described below:

Menu Bar - The menu bar is near the top of the screen and contains links to areas of the portal that you have permission to access. These typically include Home, Projects/Workspaces, Services and Knowledge Base.

Static Content - This area includes a welcome message, instructions on submitting a new project request and information describing how to view project information.

Dynamic Content - This area provides dynamic reports from TeamDynamix. By default these reports are:

My Flagged Items - a list of records in TeamDynamix that you have flagged, if any, from within projects that you have permission to view.

My Tasks - A list of tasks that have been assigned to you, if any. The gear icon can be used to set the time frame covered by this report.

My Issues - A list of issues that have been assigned to you, if any.
Updating Tasks and Issues
From within either the My Tasks or My Issues report, click on the name of a task or issue to open the details window. Then click on the red “Update” button to create an update for that task or issue.
Additional information
The My Tasks and My Issues reports group tasks and issues by their parent project. To gain additional information about the project that contains your tasks and issues, click on the project name above the list of tasks or issues for that project. This will open the details page for that project.
Tasks are additionally grouped by plan (task list). To view the project plan click on the name of the plan. The plan name follows the project name separated by the ‘ / ’ character. (Example: project name / plan name)
