OIT Portfolio Project Request

A request to add a new project to the OIT Major Projects portfolio goes through a simple two step process:

• Phase I Review - A newly submitted project request contains very basic information about what the new project would provide. The request is reviewed by the OIT Cabinet and if approved moves to the Phase II review stage.
   
• Phase II Review - Once a project request passes its Phase I review the project request is examined in greater detail. What exactly will the project deliver? How demanding will the project be in terms of time and fiscal costs? What are the benefits that this project will create for the organization and what will the ongoing costs it will incur?

Once granted final approval by the OIT Cabinet a project manager will be assigned and planning for the new project will formally begin.
